HISTORY

SANTA FÉ was established in 1981 by Fernando Luis Cardoso Bueno as an investment and asset-management consulting firm. During the 80s, it was an active participant of the brazilian stock market , managing investment clubs and corporate/individual investor portfolios.
With the opening of the Brazilian Stock Market to foreign capital in the 90s – "annex IV", Resolution CMN 1289/87, SANTA FÉ expanded, catering to foreign investors as well.
As of 1995, when independent non-financial companies were allowed to manage investment funds, SANTA FÉ focused its activities on managing hedge funds, and individual, institutional and foreign investment portfolios.

SANTA FÉ and its managers always strived to measure their lives, businesses and financial decision-making on the respect for the human being, valuing interpersonal relations. The group helps supporting Lar da Benção Divina, an institution set up 50 years ago. Today it is a day-care center, accredited by the Municipal Government of São Paulo, attending 200children.
